At NÅDE we are committed to sustainable practices & protecting our Mother Earth. All good things meant to be cherished take time and naturally dyed textiles are certainly an ode to the art of slow craft. We aim to create beautifully crafted textiles using food waste from local restaurants, floral waste from farmers and florists as well as foraged plants. Our hope is that the hues rendered from these plants & food waste will challenge you to experience food and nature in a new way. Production Policy: To reduce time and material waste - we begin working on wholesale orders the 10th of every month. This allows us to sew and dye in bulk rather than stopping, starting, and throwing out dye baths. Orders placed after the 10th will be completed the next month. About Natural Dyes: Naturally Dyed items are LIVING COLOR - they can display variation in hue and spots & saturations in color in one piece. It is a testament to natural dyeing and the handmade narrative. All of the NÅDE items are pre-treated to improve the lifespan of these magical hues. Proper care for naturally dyed items will increase the longevity of the colors. Keeping your naturally dyed item out of direct sunlight is critical and wash by hand in cold water. Iron lightly on low setting
