Farm2Cocktail began as a means to make mixology easy for cocktail lovers. Our flagship products are known as shrubs, a word derived from the Arabic sharab, meaning beverage or "to drink". Shrubs are a fusion of fresh fruits, herbs, sugar and vinegars combined to create unique and flavorful syrups for cocktails, mocktails and even dressings. During colonial days shrubs were used to preserve the flavor of fruits in the off season and have evolved over time to become a home bar's up and coming mixer. "I started making shrubs because I fell in love with their rich history and well balanced sweet and tart flavor profile," says Farm2Cocktail founder Carlton Chamblin. Chamblin is a native of Birmingham, AL with backgrounds in art history, product marketing and restaurant service.  Since moving to Rabun County, Georgia in 2016 he has been an integral part of the community and an ardent supporter of the local food bank and their teaching kitchen. He has taken his love of bartending and hospitality to new heights with the founding of Farm2Cocktail. Carlton’s passion is to develop more mixology-made-easy products using all natural ingredients with an emphasis on small batch and boutique stylings. Carlton resides in Tiger, Georgia with Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey and Diva, his three canine rescues.Read their story
