Vitalgrana is a project that began its journey in 2008, when a group of 400 farmers who owned 1,300 Ha (13,000,000 m2) of land known as “Els Carrissals” or “Los Carrizales”, located in the Hondo de Elche Natural Parks/ Crevillent and Las Salinas de Santa Pola (Alicante), decide to launch a pioneering initiative, specifically, the Parc Natural Agrari els Carrissals (PANAC), a project that bases its philosophy on respect for environment and support for traditional agricultural activities that have been developed in this territory for centuries, all of this protected by the philosophy of the Agrarian Model European. The Vitalgrana project was launched in October 2011, with the help of a multidisciplinary team. Vitalgrana values the traditional cultivation of Spanish pomegranate, the main crop in the area and the main one in the environment where our project is based. Vitalgrana's MISSION is to help people improve their health and well-being, in order to achieve the highest quality of life, providing them with all the healthy properties of pomegrana.
