Founder Cathie Arpino, a cosmetic chemist since 1988, always had a passion for skincare. But after becoming a mother in 1996, she shifted her focus to nursing, all while raising her family in the Hudson Valley. It wasn’t until 2011, when her husband Glenn, a compounding pharmacist, started receiving requests for natural products, that Cathie rediscovered her calling. Cathie returned to the lab, combining her love of science with her commitment to using nature’s purest ingredients. This spark led to the creation of Hudson Valley Skin Care—a brand that’s not just about beautiful products, but about offering affordable luxury that’s rooted in family, passion, and the power of nature.
