Our jewelry is inspired by the earth and architecture, dominated by modern geometric designs that take up space with a airy weightlessness. Elaine has always been a maker, crafter, experiment enthusiast, and lover of beautiful objects and space. She grew up moving between an outdoorsy life in Denver with her father and her mother’s Thai restaurant in Charlottesville, Virginia in. In 2009, she received a BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where she focused on material studies in glass and metal. The four following years were dedicated to working for various small businesses settled in Charlottesville’s thriving creative community while developing her craft. Three of those years were working under Gabriel Ofiesh, an accomplished goldsmith who taught her about the art of fine jewelry manufacturing. Those talented artists and makers guided her through the many stages of growing her business to what it is today. Jump to seven years later - after being one of the many makers in the small but saturated Charlottesville arts community. In the spring of 2017 Elaine relocated to Detroit Michigan. She quickly found her community and has rebuilt her team with the same passion and commitment to fostering a connection to craft; both for her customers that range from individuals to large retailers, and to her collaborators by whom she is continually inspired.
