Alanna founded Native Candle Company while trying to source clean burning and non-toxic candles for her home. Our mission is to create candles that spark joy, celebrate life’s meaningful moments, and create a cozy atmosphere for you + those you love. Our style is simplistic and uncomplicated so that the candles can transition seamlessly into any decor. The brand has grown, but the core values are the same. Each batch of candles is made by hand. Candles are 3 1/2"H x 3" W and hold 10 oz. of wax which give about 40-50 hours of burn time. NONTOXIC + ECOFRIENDLY We use only non-toxic materials that ensure a clean burning candle including: lead + zinc free cotton wicks, sustainably sourced soy + coconut wax, non-toxic perfume oils. We reuse packing and shipping materials as much as possible to reduce our carbon footprint + utilize almost zero single use plastics. It is encouraged that vessels be repurposed or recycled. Our candles are always free from carcinogens, phthalates, VOC's, parabens, preservatives, reproductive toxins + petroleum byproducts. RUNWAY FOR RECOVERY $1 from every candle sold is donated to Runway for Recovery, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and support families affected by breast cancer. Unlike most nonprofits focused on breast cancer, Runway is not oriented toward a cure.
