In addition to the normal ups and downs of newbie parenthood, our Isla was born with a large tumor in her mouth. Thankfully, it eventually resolved on its own, but it made baby Isla’s adjustment into this world quite a struggle. Through it all, we gave her silly animal nicknames to capture both the cute and the challenging daily activities of being a baby. They kept us smiling through all the highs and lows! For her first Christmas, Isla's dad surprised us by designing and printing a book to help us always remember her nicknames. After glowing feedback from fellow parents, we went on to self-publish the book. "Baby Zoo, I Love You" is a keepsake that captures those precious moments in a unique and delightful way. It gives both new and seasoned parents an extra reason to smile and bond throughout all the craziness of life with a baby! Since then, we designed Bitsies to match the book! These miniature crochet animals make the most adorable gift and first toy for babies, the perfect size for little hands. We have more adventures to come and are so excited to have you as part of our story!
