Wörishofer shoes were created in 1933 in northern Germany and are still made there. In 1950, Wörishofer began producing sandals with lightweight cork heels and ergonomic insoles for near-orthopedic comfort. These retro-chic shoes have retained their vintage look and are now available in France after conquering the United States and Japan.
