About Career 5 Design

Career 5 Design is dedicated to creating designs that touch people's hearts. My designs are inspired by the many years I lived in Wisconsin's Northwoods, watching loons and photographing my surroundings. Very few Swedish dishcloths on today's market cater to lovers of the Northwoods way of life. Career 5 Design seeks to fill that niche. I import my Swedish dish cloths directly from Sweden. Made of 70% wood cellulose and 30% repurposed cotton, these cloths are highly absorbent and last much longer than paper towels. Nearly all of them measure about 6-3/4" by 7-1/2." All designs are created and printed in the United States. I am Katie Stern, owner and designer of Career 5 Design products. Career 5 Design is rooted in both ecology and in education. It took several months to develop this manufacturing method, and I see no reason to keep the process to myself. I teach dozens of other artists the same process, therefore giving them a chance to sell eco-friendly products of their own. Read their story
