Launched in the Summer of 2008, Current/Elliott was born out of love of all things vintage and founded on the principle that every item in your closet should be rich in stories. The originator of the boyfriend jean, the brand was brought to life by Emily Current and Merritt Elliott whose vision came from their experience. In over a decade of styling for publications as well as celebrities. They recognized a need for a new style of denim and believed in dressing without rules, mixing high and low pieces to create a fun and fearless aesthetic that was uniquely theirs. Treasured as an American wardrobe classic, denim’s storied history is the inspiration behind each collection, fit and wash. Our Los Angeles-based design team is focused on four pillars: Craftsmanship, Authenticity, Integrity, and Individual Expression.
