As a trans person, Isa experienced first-hand the need for pronoun identifiers. The frustration of being the only person in the workplace to correct misgendering spurred the idea for pronoun pins. When the first design (our "classic") was ready, it was unclear if anyone else would be interested. To Isa's surprise, a wave of support launched Gamut into business. From the beginning, we have asked our customers for input. Which pronouns should we add? Are they readable and durable? The feedback we received shaped Gamut designs into the products we are proud to offer today. We remain committed to giving back to the community and have made donations a part of our business since the first sale. 10% of profits are donated to ecological and LGBTQ+ organizations.
