"Van jongensdroom aan de keukentafel" Ons verhaal is helaas niet begonnen in 1915, maar zo’n 100 jaar later in het voorjaar van 2015. Aan de keukentafel van ons ouderlijk huis raakten wij geïnspireerd door een houten zonnebril. We vonden het zo geweldig dat je een bril van hout kon maken dat we opzoek gingen naar meer mogelijkheden met hout. Al snel kwamen we uit bij houten horloges. Alles wat er bestond vonden we maar saai en veel te duur. Hier begon onze missie om duurzame houten horloges sexy en modieus te maken en voor een eerlijke prijs aan te bieden. In mei 2015 werd 1915 watches ingeschreven bij de Kamer van Koophandel te Amsterdam en investeerden wij al ons spaargeld in de eerste 150 horloges. Na de lancering in juni 2015 kreeg de media interesse in ons start-up verhaal en meldde zich zelfs al de eerste winkel om dealer te worden.
