Our journey began when in 2000 I founded Papalote Paper, today Urban Kolor with a focus on crafting designs for kids and has continued to evolve, allowing us to create exclusive high-quality wall art prints and cards that bring creativity and joy to children's spaces. Our work is deeply rooted in understanding how colors impact children's development, early childhood education, and design. For instance, warm colors like red and yellow can energize, while cool colors like blue and green promote calmness and focus. As parents, our personal experiences have profoundly influenced our designs. We work with a fantastic team of graphic designers who share our passion for creating designs that are not only visually captivating but also filled with warmth and affection. Together, we strive to infuse our love and care as parents into each piece. One of the highlights of my journey was having our designs selected for the Innovation Designs exhibit at the Paperworld Frankfurt trade show and being showcased at the Spanish Institute of Commerce. Designing for children is more than just a job for us—it’s a passion that fuels our creativity every day.
