Depressed Monsters, LLC. is a lifestyle brand and mental health advocacy group founded by Vegas-based visual artist, Ryan Brunty. Founded in 2012 after the passing of Brunty's grandfather, the visual artist found he could not leave his house for weeks and ended up losing his jobs and friends due to the depression that set on after losing his grandfather. Eventually, turning to art therapy, a self portrait of the brand's main character came through and this save his life. Yerman as he is affectionally known to thousands across the world, has become a beacon of hope for many suffering from depression. Depressed Monsters can now be found at Hot Topic, depressedmonsters.com and are proud to donate a portion of proceeds each year to mental health agencies across the country.
