Postum was the first breakfast beverage in the late 1800s and was made by C.W. Post who named his company the Postum Cereal company and was later named Post Cereal Company. Mr. Post advertised Postum by informing consumers they could drink their breakfast because it was made of roasted wheat and molasses. No caffeine was important to the Postum Cereal Company. Postum has been around for so many generations, customers usually have warm and nostalgic memories of drinking Postum as children or with their parents and grandparents. Postum is an instant coffee substitute that is delicious hot or cold. It can be made with any kind of milk and sweetener even as a cappuccino or a frappuccino. Postum is vegan, kosher, non-GMO, and made in the USA. There are now three flavors: Original Postum, Coffee Flavored Postum, and Postum Cocoa Blend.
