I founded Ecodunia in 2018 on a mission to create the best quality products in my homeland, Kenya, in the most socially responsible and sustainable way possible. We make great products that do a lot of good! All of our material is sourced from the highest quality producers in Kenya. I’ve personally inspected the factories that produce our cloth to ensure that the working conditions are up to our high standards. In this way we can assure that we are helping to build a robust and fair economy in Kenya. We are building community! All of our products are handmade in our very own workshop where every tailor is provided with dignified work and a nice working space, with daily lunches made by my mother. We are committed to offering some of the best wages in Kenya. In doing so, we have created a small community of the most committed, intelligent, capable tailors around. This is already lifting people out of the cycle of poverty by allowing them to save enough to send their children to school and have a better life than they would. We are helping the environment! We believe strongly that the production economy is one of the most powerful ways to affect ecological change. By making durable, high quality products, we are reducing waste.
