Hello! I'm Sonia, founder of Salad Code. One day I realized that the products I used daily on my sensitive skin caused me to redden frequently. Interestingly, I started to read the list of ingredients for those products, to know exactly what I was applying to my skin, and the list was full of petroleum products and ingredients with names I didn't understand... That same week I decided that I wanted to take care of myself with more natural products. My lifestyle has always been very healthy, why shouldn't it be the same to take care of my skin? I have always been a very enterprising person, so I decided to create my own brand of natural and sustainable cosmetics! And do you know how the name and the whole concept of the brand came about? Easy, one day after the gym I was having a salad where there was no shortage of spinach, tomato, avocado, olive oil... And I realized that my skin-to-face washed and eating that salad was radiant, without redness, moisturized and brighter. It was clear to me there: Salad Code, salads for your skin. That was the key, to formulate a cosmetic with the same ingredients that I was eating at that time (fruits and vegetables full of antioxidants and vitamins), in order to take care of the skin on the outside in the same way that we all take care of ourselves on the inside. Since then, more than 4 years have passed in which we have been growing and improving in all aspects. But we still have a long way to go! Will you join us? 😊
