Deidre Stone (she/her) created storm + stress over a decade ago unsure of where it may take her. Over the years, she has found her creative footing with jewelry, candles, home decor and she's always striving to expand her offerings. She's constantly working to hone her craft and improve the sustainability and ethical components of her supplies and company as a whole. She draws her inspiration from the mystique of the moon and all things celestial and dark. Her fascination with the complexity of seemingly simple things is reflected in her constructions. Although her inspirations have waxed and waned over the years, she strives to keep her designs fluid as her artistic tide ebbs and flows. She lives on Monocan land in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. She is currently restoring a home built in 1815 with her partner and 14 year old fur baby by her side. When she's not creating (or restoring), you can find her exploring nature, painting, playing or listening to music, reading and learning, and spending time with her loved ones. She loves creating and making connections with other like minded creatives is honored that she gets to wake up every day and do what she does.
