The Genius Loci collection uses plant ash from forest fires or burning pruning debris in glazes of ceramic pieces. Its nuclear concept is recovery. Fires are the perfect metaphor for irreversible losses and parts, proof that with what little remains, the process of destruction caused by fire can be reversed, since ceramics are created precisely thanks to fire. For the Romans, a Genius Loci was the protective spirit of a place. Reviving that part of a site devastated in kind objects, designed to last, and connecting a story with its users is the mission of the collection. Each piece is completely unique and may have differences both in size and finish, due to its 100% handmade process and the behavior of natural materials.
