Pottery has been my passion for fifty years. Developing original designs and glaze combinations continually challenges me. Improving my line of dinnerware and art for the home is an ongoing process. I am known for my combination of glazes that create scenes in nature. I love experimenting with mixing glaze colors together to create depth and landscape feeling that can be interpreted by our customers. I live in the San Luis Valley, in southern Colorado where the view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains inspire a desire to recreate outrageous sunsets and brilliant color combinations provided by nature each day. My work is done on the potter’s wheel, slab roller, or hand built, with the focus on making wares that are functional and used in the home every day. I feel very fortunate to have spent my life creating pottery for my customers to use in their home. Read their story
