Chimere Faulk, originally became known as the The Natural Hair Lady for her skills as a natural hair stylist and loctician in the Atlanta area. She taught her love of natural beauty as she served clients, and trained fellow hair stylist around the world. Although she suggested the best natural hair products on the shelves at that time, her clients with locs would continuously be disappointed by the results. Those products created buildup. The beauty industry was bursting with new natural products---none of which were designed specifically for locs. With buildup consistently created within locs by creams, gels and waxes offered on the market, it was time for a change. After years of suggesting products she knew would not fully serve her clients needs and decided to use her knowledge of hair and natural ingredients to solve this problem herself. During the year of 2013 and 2014, she researched and developed the proprietary formulas for the Dr Locs line of products while servicing her clients.
