At Guard Your ID we are passionate about helping individuals in protecting their identity. To help combat the increasing risk of credit cards, bank accounts, prescription bottles and social security fraud the Guard Your ID stamps and rollers were developed. Junk mail, prescriptions and credit card offers are quickly becoming a prevalent target for identity thieves. The traditional method that most of us have used is to be shredding or marking out our information with a Sharpie. Unfortunately, shredded paper is difficult to recycle, and a Sharpie lifts the image so it can be read. Guard Your ID introduced the concept of a security stamp and roller as an alternative solution for protecting your information easily will creating a greener alternative to shredding. In addition to preserving the paper fiber length (non-shredding stamping) necessary for the efficient recycling process; Guard Your ID roller provides a quieter, cleaner and easier method for protecting your private information and it provides the user portability with no electricity required vs. a shredder. Our journey in developing the stamp pattern took some time; when we began this process our first prototypes for the Guard Your ID consisted of + and – characters which were quickly determined that this pattern was not the best solution of masking your information. Back to the drawing board and after over 100 attempts we developed the patent pattern that we use today for all our Guard Your ID products.
