Equally important to the intent and process, is the choice of material. As candlemakers, they clearly feel a special obligation to champion the honeybee. Using100% pure North American beeswax, Greentree Home is firm in their support of sustainable harvesting. In an effort to reduce their carbon footprint, they make an effort to use recycled & biodegradable packing materials. Jenifer Green, Founder, feels that creativity is the lifeblood that makes our everyday lives spectacular. Using natural materials is at the core of our artistic process. Green states "When one of our candles is lit, not only does it burn cleanly, it slowly transforms the object and gives off a sweet scent and luminous warm glow.” Established in 2000, from their studio in the foothills of the Catskill Mts. the company produces their distinctive line.
