Milet Bowl History The patterns on ceramic bowls produced in the 14th century are called Milet patterns. These works, belonging to the early Ottoman and beylik periods, were uncovered during excavations at the ancient city of Miletus. Subsequent research determined that the actual production site was İznik. The **Cemre Collection** is a modern adaptation of these bowls, produced in the 14th century, for the contemporary era. Technical Information The base of the bowls is ceramic, fired at temperatures between 900-1200 Celsius and produced using the underglaze technique. First, the pattern is designed, drawn, and painted.
