We found that the taste profiles of both the raw and the roasted cashew butters are too delicious to pick one, so we offer both for our customers. The raw cashew butter has a more neutral flavor with cashew’s famed natural sweetness, while the roasted cashew butter has a somewhat nuttier taste. Both are excellent to eat directly out of the jar or as an ingredient in other dishes. Cashews are naturally a drier nut, so oil must be added during milling for a smooth consistency. We use safflower oil, which, like our Valencia peanuts, is high in high-oleic oil. Both versions of our cashew butter are milled to creamy perfection, no grittiness. Try them both, and taste the difference yourself.
