Americans are divided on a lot of issues, but we almost all agree there is too much money in politics. We need to work toward a new constitutional amendment, giving states the power to decide how to fund elections. Twenty two states have already advanced the idea of a 28th amendment; when we reach 38 states, it will force Congress to vote, and with all eyes on them to change the system, they will have no choice but to change the system—for everyone. "Dear Citizen" explains a little bit about how we got here, how to use the book to encourage conversations that will increase agreement and for all of us to take action to solve this modern day problem.
