Back in 2004 I was a 20 year old with no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I found myself travelling around India searching for answers. One day I came across a store selling this strange, dried green algae – they claimed it was a great source of protein, iron, beta-carotenes and so much more. It was Spirulina. This discovery sparked my fascination with superfoods and their potential to enhance health, energy, and immunity. Years later, in 2012, I co-founded Forest Super Foods with a friend, starting out of my garage. From the outset, our mission was clear: to use commerce as a force for good. We partnered with small, independent suppliers and dedicated a portion of sales to rescuing endangered Australian rainforests. The early years were challenging, but our conviction kept us going. Today, Forest Super Foods is trusted by thousands of Australians and has reached customers worldwide. Our focus has always been on quality and integrity, values passed down to me by my grandfather. He taught me that business should be about building reciprocal relationships with customers, not maximizing profits at their expense.
