Movemama started when I was pregnant with my first baby and found myself to be so disappointed in all of the activewear options for moms and moms to be. Everything I found felt like an "afterthought." Just an obligation by a big retailer to have maternity clothes but it all seemed to be thrown out there without any intention or thought. Nothing had pockets. Everything was made out of crappy, cheap material, or was poorly designed and looked too dang much like maternity clothes. Sure... I needed something to fit my growing bump - but I definitely didn't want to buy ugly clothing and then only wear it for a few months... that felt like a waste. Movemama honestly started as a way to create my own "wishlist" of pieces that would transition with me from maternity to postpartum (and back again and back again, ha!) I have loved offering pieces to women that will last, offer comfort and ease, and ultimately be great a investment because they last through every stage of motherhood.
