Calathea Elgergrass has unique two-tone leaves; dark green on the top and a deep maroon underside. Its elongated leaves have wavy edges and feel soft and velvet-like too. This beauty is unusual and interesting because of its bi-coloured leaves. Like other Calatheas the leaves go to sleep every night and wake up in the morning so you get to enjoy the deep purple underside of its leaves too. This houseplant needs watering every 7 - 10 days or once the soil is slightly dry to touch. It enjoys high humidity so don’t forget to spritz it regularly too.
