The Chamaedorea Elegans is an easy to grow indoors plant thanks to their tolerance of low light levels, so they will thrive in your home or office. They are often referred to as a Parlour Palm because the Victorians were fond of displaying them in parlours. With their exotic, elegant beauty, they considered them a botanical status symbol and liked to position their Parlour Palm for neighbours and visitors to admire, while also showing them that they had money to spend.
