ABOUT ME I, Ángela Carrascosa, a pharmacist by profession, decided to turn my life around by creating my first collection after the discovery of myself and the world seen with my own eyes, a rebirth. WHY NEW YORK It all started alone in New York, starting from scratch. In me discovering my other self, the Fashion School where I would study my passion had to be the best, PARSONS; the city was the most modern, cosmopolitan, sophisticated and urban, NEW YORK, and from there, being passionate about design, everything and everyone in the most cosmopolitan capital of the planet I looked at gave me ideas to create my collection. But how do you mix the sobriety of a pristine black male suit of a financier, with the wide variety of streetstyles from all over New York? In addition, do you want to add the elegance of a feminine silhouette and the essence of all women from different parts of the world? Orna Farho is a French brand that has been creating fashion for over 30 years. All our products are made in France by French designers. For our designs, we exclusively use high-quality components such as vaporous fabrics such as Georgette, knitwear fabrics containing Lycra as well as precious materials such as silk. Our prints are exclusive and are selected by our designers taking into account current trends. We prefer the use of fabrics that offer the highest quality of comfort. We have several wide ranges of clothing: high skirts, pants, long and short dresses, jumpsuits... pants. We offer a wide choice of sizes in order to satisfy all our customers. Always anxious to innovate and reinvent ourselves, our collections are regularly redesigned.

We are two women owning this small business and are curators of handmade textile collection, 7 Artisan Street! We are bonded first by the same cause of up-cycling and reducing waste, and second as sisters-in-law. While working in the corporate for 13 years, we got a chance to study waste and eco-friendly alternatives. It was during this time that we learnt about pre-consumer textile waste. It didn’t sit well with us and we knew we had to initiate change. It seemed almost natural for us to put our creative heads together and deal with the challenges of a start-up business. A year later, 7 Artisan Street was ready to raise awareness (even in small steps) about pre-consumer textile waste to reduce our carbon footprint. Socially Responsible: At 7Artisan Street, we have been actively involved in providing food, clothing, shoes, books and hygiene related items such as soaps etc. for a group of children that we have taken under our wing. It is our dream to see these children of the streets get, at a minimum, the basic necessities of life. To realize “our dream” for these children we have further decided to give a significant portion of our profits towards their needs and growth.
