Just For Bubba was started when I had my little girl and was looking for similar items in the UK but couldn't find anything. I have always had a creative flair and decided to create my own pins and jewellery. When people saw them they all asked me where I had purchased them from and whether I would make one for them too. The business took off this way! I pay attention to detail to ensure I am happy with the items before they are sent out so you will be receiving the most beautiful items in the highest quality. Everything is sent beautifully packaged in a gift box and tied with ribbon so it is ready if you are giving it as a gift or sell.

Always a fan of a good story Julia studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art. A passion for screen printing followed. She brought to life literary characters she loved in little hand screen printed books. A move to Brighton brought gallery stockists after she displayed her products in a pop up shop. Her love of the outdoors and green has brought her back to her home of Yorkshire. She hand prints a range of screen printed products. Screen printing has opened the door for her to create not just art to hang on a wall but also in the form of cushions, brooches, mobiles, decorations, notebooks and much more. All her products are proudly handmade here in Yorkshire! Julia aims to make art that makes you smile; bright pictures to escape grey days.

Beqi Clothing started after a comically large bottle of Merlot on a rooftop in South St. Louis. The goal was to make the kind of wearables a postpunk romantic like me would adore. I bought fabric, broke out my grandmother's 1960s Singer, and set to work. 20 years later, we've been in magazines, on TV shows, and even in an indie movie or two. And we're still going strong. Here's to the power of DIY ingenuity. And maybe also wine. ;)

Selatan is the creation of zoo keeper, Monique. Selatan is named after the very first Sumatran tiger she worked with and serves as the perfect platform for her to raise funds to support the conservation efforts of her favourite animal species. All zookeepers search for that unique piece of jewellery which represent their favourite animal species. Monique was never able to find that perfect piece representing Selatan. So she taught herself how to make that special piece. Selatan creates bold, vibrant, fun animal-themed brooches. Aiming to tread lightly on our fragile planet, Selatan makes environmentally friendly choices in all aspects of her business.

Su Owen is an illustrator and surface pattern designer. She loves to create whimsical designs that also carry an environmental message. Narrative and story telling are also themes that she loves! Su is passionate about nature and the environment and seeks to make products that are properly sustainable, whilst being fun and wearable.

Kate is a jewellery designer and maker, working in Buckinghamshire, UK. She makes all her jewellery from wood, often using acrylic, gold leaf and semi-precious stones for details. Sustainability is so important to this small business, all the wood is FSC approved, and each piece is designed with the intention of producing as little waste as possible. Kate trained as an illustrator, and this comes across within her jewellery, with engraved drawings and details; this is modern, playful jewellery inspired by ancient artefacts, architecture and ornament. Kate works in a studio at home, where everything is designed and made in-house using a laser cutter.

I am Laura. I am the designer, the creator, the cutter, the stitcher, the maker, the gift wrapper, the social media (over) sharer and the post office tripper (and most importantly, the tea brewer) behind Little L Sews. I am also a wife and mum of two young children, and we have two slightly bonkers springer spaniels. Based in South Devon, life is full and busy, but there is always time for some sewing..... Little L Sews was born from my love of all things sewing and crafting. I’ve always enjoyed making things; from tiny clothes for my beloved Barbie dolls, to overly embellished handmade cards as a child (yes, you can imagine!). Now though, I really love to make and create beautiful things for all my favourite people, which can be treasured for a long time. And I will do the same for your favourite people too! I generally like simple designs, but with a pop of colour (neon is a current fav), and Bet Lynch would be proud of my leopard print appreciation. My brain is always whirring away with new designs and ideas... If you have something specific in mind that I don’t currently make, I am happy for you to contact me and if possible I will help you come up with a product that is just what you had in mind (or my mind...). Chikai's story starts with Jessica and her love and passion for handcrafted creations. She has spent all her life bringing creations to life but never thought about starting her own business until around 2013. Originally from Spain, she decided to start using her crafty skills as a business when she moved to Brighton in the UK, where she resides now with her supportive husband David. After moving to the UK Jessica started working remotely and whilst doing so she became interested in crafts. Being a creative and resourceful person she self-taught herself the techniques and began producing items that people were super excited about, so Jessica and David decided to bring Chikai to life. Chikai means "near" in Japanese, a symbolic name for the type of personal touch and customer service that Jessica aims to deliver on every package she sent around the world. Each of these include a handwritten note and a small gift, a token of appreciation for the support. In a couple of years working on all sort of lovely creations, Chikai has been on several local craft faire and Xmas markets around Brighton, with great success on every occasion. On top of that Jessica has been able to make Chikai her full time job, thanks to a loyal and happy customer base that is very appreciative of the work done at the store.

Baba Roo is home to positive vibes, promoting self care and creating a sustainable brand. We are massive supporters of other small UK businesses and carefully select these for inside our Happy Mail boxes we create for many different occasions. On average when you purchase one of our Happy Mail boxes you will be supporting FIVE small UK businesses. We are members of the charity 'One Tree Planted' so for every letterbox gift purchased a tree will be planted. All our mail boxes are made with eco link and recycled card. Our individual items are carefully designed to bring some brightness and positivity and whether purchased individually or placed in a letterbox gift we hope they bring self love, happiness and a bright outlook.

I'm Natalie, the Lost Kiwi, and each design reflects my journey of facing the fear of the ocean and the inner battles with anxiety.
