We're Faith and Nath and we make natural magnesium deodorant in plastic free, compostable packaging. It started on our kitchen stovetop many years ago as we had searched the earth and internet for a natural deodorant that would keep the flies at bay as Nathan worked long days often out in the sun. We were on a mission to remove as many toxins from our life as possible as in the years previous, our first baby was born three months premature, and we had several miscarriages as we extended our little family. There was no available medical solution for this so naturally we looked at lifestyle and the toxins we may have been absorbing along the way. Aluminium salts and endocrine disruptive ingredients were at the top of our to ditch list. Fast forward sixteen years and we have three wonderful and rowdy daughters. We spend our days resting our ears in our state of the art manufacturing facility in Torquay, Australia, peacefully pouring our deodorants with love and the belief that we are making a positive change in the health of every person that chooses to use our deodorant. LiveCoco is a small, UK based eco-friendly business. We do our best to create, easy to swap, eco-friendly products for oral care and your home. We very uniquely, operate our own in-house Closed-Loop Recycling System, within which we recycle any product we sell!

Mother & Her son doing their bit to help the environment! From a Young age I have always been passionate about the environment, having grown up in the Yorkshire dales I was surrounded by green hills and forests. As I grew up I was more aware of the pollution around the world and the impact that plastics were having. This was when I started to look at how I could start to try make an impact. The first product that I was keen to try and improve where plastic cotton buds, and from there it led onto many more products. It was also during this time I felt that not enough was being done to make plastic alternatives affordable enough, I wanted to make more people be able to swap single use plastics for reusable’s, and so conscious generation was born! With our core aim of making ‘sustainability affordable for everyone’. I have the belief that if reusable's cost nearly the same as their plastic alternatives then people would naturally choose the reusable. We also recycle and reuse as much as possible, which is why when you order from us the box it arrives in might not quite be what you are expecting! I work with local shops and reuse boxes as much as possible instead of it being sent off to being recycled which takes far more energy and is less environmentally friendly 18 Months in we are going stronger than ever, and we look forward to a strong 2022. After a long time living the good life in Berlin, we made the decision to leave the urban jungle behind us and move back to the countryside of our Hessian homeland, in spite of Berlin’s many advantages. Ben&Anna started with the question of how do we live now… and how do we want to live? As a strictly vegan couple we have always paid close attention to what we consumed. Our purchasing habits have always predominantly consisted of products from sustainable and / or organic sources. In the realm of cosmetic products, we have always trusted in the power of nature as well. The Answer to that is easy and clear: sustainability, vegan, plastic-free. We stand for Sustainability. We want to inspire, persuade and encourage people to think about their consumer behaviour. We want to build more awareness on Natural Products. I, Anna, had long been searching for a suitable deodorant for myself. It needed to be vegan and not tested on animals. I also wanted a deodorant without aluminium and it was impossible for me to find anything that fit the bill. Therefore, we took matters into our own hands and decided to develop our own deodorant which is based solely on all natural ingredients and is free of parabens. It’s a deodorant which can be used by men and women alike.

I'm Alison, the co-founder of Toothbuckle, alongside my mum Roz.
