About The Chrysalis Imagery

Hi! I'm Jessica. The Chrysalis Imagery cards were born from my personal walk through grief after losing my long-time mate. These are the cards that your customers will be so glad to have on hand when life comes knocking. The messages (featuring all original artwork & hand lettering) are authentic, compassionate & candid and strike a different chord than what we typically see in the greeting card world. Real messages for people going through real things. Designed by a person who really gets it with the intent to encourage, inspire and uplift. In designing a logo, I knew I wanted to work with the symbol of a chrysalis. A space of incubation & possibility where alchemy & magic happen. And that's not always a neat & tidy process. When a caterpillar enters a chrysalis, it surrenders itself to a process of total transformation. Every part of its body except the nervous system, dissolves & reforms into something entirely different. I'm fascinated that the nervous system remains. It suggests that a butterfly retains its memory of being a caterpillar. It's a powerful metaphor for the messy & beautiful way that life stretches us into new expressions of possibility while holding the foundation of where we come from at our core, a message at the heart of everything offered at here. About me...I was a wellness practitioner for 30 years. That experience informs my art. When I am not drawing, you'll find me on the beach with my dogs, laughing at myself & at life's antics!

Adventures of Betty

Adventures of Betty ( that’s me, AKA Beth! ) was born out of a love of design, creating and the power of words. I’m inspired by nature, love all things abstract, obsessed with colour, plants, mugs and my morning coffee and love the simplicity of typography designs. I know myself how the power of words can change your whole day, your outlook and your mindset. And for me, to know someone has my back, is thinking of me and rooting for me makes all the difference. So this is my adventure, bringing a little bit of joy to the everyday through the smallest gestures. It’s never just a card.

Be Wholesome

My name is Bella and Be Wholesome is a wellness brand focused on mental health, with its first product being a prompted journal that gets you focusing on yourself and what makes you happy & the newest products being positive affirmation cards and a 'weeds & seeds' organisational to do list. My ethos is to make mental health resources more accessible, while also making sure sustainability and eco-friendly products are at the forefront. I also donate 10% profits to Mind mental health charity. I started Be Wholesome going through a difficult time with my own mental health and finding journalling a really helpful way to process my feelings. I couldn't find an existing journal on the market that worked for me, that didn't feel gimmicky or like too much pressure to complete every day. Be Wholesome wellness stationary is designed from my own mental health experience but it is perfect for any store looking to stock eco-friendly, wellness focused products.

After Claireisms, Wordy Bird was created. This line is a broad line that encompasses everything from anniversary to wedding and everything in between. All of the cards are written by the owner and there is an emphasis on encouragement and sympathy. There are also areas not being addressed by card companies such as chronic illness. The Epic Fail Game

We’re two Sydney-based reforming helicopter parents with a few decades of professional experience in cultural psychology and design between us… Susanna I work with change, so like most people in my industry, I found the pace of disruption and innovation really exciting. I often worked with corporates who feared disruption, feared change yet wanted (needed) their culture to be more adaptive and brave in order to stay competitive. When my 5 year old first started showing signs of anxiety I was baffled. Here was this kid who had the easiest life I could imagine.. what could he have to be worried about? With some theory under my belt I started researching the convergence between new discoveries in brain plasticity, cognitive biases, and plundering the silicon valley start-up formula - fail fast and learn. We essentially hoped by pooling together the best of these parallel streams of thinking, we could create some tools that are practical, tangible and fun! Yolanda As a designer I know first hand the potential of applying creativity to communicate complex concepts in ways that are simple and engaging. When my son was going through a tough year at school, I found myself searching for tools and ideas that could help me to support him. And while there is SO much information available online, none of it was very accessible for kids. It all just felt like therapy, but what he really responded to was learning through play.
