About Tucan Holistic
Growing up in an olive oil-producing country, my life took an unexpected turn in my mid-20s with a brain malformation diagnosis after moving to Canada. Multiple surgeries, scans, seizures, and reliance on pharmaceuticals defined this challenging journey. My wife, Emmy, a Montessori Educator and Nutritionist, transformed our kitchen into a haven of whole-food healing, inspiring my path to medication-free living. In 2021, I rebranded Tucan, which started in 2011, sharing my wisdom and journey through clean ingredients. By August 2023, with community support, I was a month away from being medication-free. September 2023 marked the official medication-free status, initiating my journey to conquer seizure fears. In 2024, my wife and I embraced regenerative farming, promoting local products with Meng Karbach joining our team. Grateful for a second chance, 1% of net proceeds supports epilepsy advocacy.
