Welcome to Aisling! Aisling is the Gaelic spelling of my name, Ashley, and means “vision” and “dream.” It epitomizes the goal of my designs - to reflect who we are, what we do, and our hopes and plans for future adventures. Aisling strives to bring a bit of fun and unique design into your daily adventures. Whether you are fishing on the river, hiking in the mountains, hanging with friends, or watching your favorite team -- we are here to supply you with an accessory that represents who you are, where you're from, where you've been or what you love to do. Our designs are hand-drawn, painted and photographed by me! The artwork is mixed media-based utilizing watercolor, acrylic, graphite, ink and select imagery. One of my favorite techniques is gyotaku, the ancient Japanese process of covering a fish in ink and making rubbings with rice paper. The inspiration for my designs comes from my roots in the Midwest, my life in Colorado and a passion for travel, As a company we believe that life is an adventure - no matter where you live or what you do. We also offer distinguished party accessories such as handbags, party clutches, elegant elastic belts, flower belts, high-quality costume jewelry in wedding earrings, gold earrings, fashion earrings, long necklaces, and short necklaces, special gifts, and much more... Our story began in 2013, and our mission is to offer distinguished products that excite our clients, make them feel special, and accompany them on special occasions and in their daily lives. In 2005 I left for Thailand to teach English and after getting my TEFL certification I began to teach at a language school and was working 5 days a week usually teaching adults 18-50 years old in group classes. The culture, the food and scenery was absolutely amazing. As Christmas came around I bought scarves as gifts then headed home to Colorado. After my mom’s friends showed overwhelming interest we decided to start buying more scarves and trying out local shows in Denver, CO. A year later we displayed are products at some events in the mountains near Breckenridge and Vail. Those summer events became very profitable and our customer base gave us a great response. Barrett Imports eventually found its way into high end retail events throughout the US and finally we pushed into the wholesale market in Las Vegas, later doing other exhibitions at Atlanta, GA and San Fransisco. In 2015 we pushed forward and started selling wholesale to stores in over 30 states in the US. From there we have expanded and the rest is history I guess

As far as my memories go back, I’ve always been creative. My mother and father were competitive ballroom dancers. My father also a painter along with my brother and aunt. So you can say it runs in the family. For a long time I thought that there were rules to creativity and I felt that I needed to follow those rules, but in 2018 I moved to Harlem and was exposed to a great deal of adventurous expression from the fashion culture. That exposure motivated me to unleash my pent up creative side and in 2019 I started creating my own fedoras. While the pandemic caused many to fold up shop, it allowed me to open up my own. I decided to leave my 600 sq ft Harlem apartment and head to another fashionably expressive area of the country…Atlanta, GA. It took less time that I had anticipated for word to get out (don’t get me wrong, it did not happen overnight) but the people in Atlanta can recognize quality and creativity with the best of them, and with so many of us being connected at the push of a button Fedora Designs is providing quality custom fedoras to clients throughout the country.

Big Bobble Hats started over 13 years ago with Tamara (co-owner) and Ian (co-owner). Ian used to work on the oil rigs a lot, so he was away for long periods of time and Tamara got quite bored. One of her friends was in a knitting class, so she joined up, and got quite handy with it – she started to knit hats. And it just snowballed from there. She made one bobble hat for Ian, with a massive bobble on it… she was just about to cut the bobble off, to make it smaller, but he said, “No, I really love the bobble!” They took the hats on a skiing holiday and got some compliments, the rest is history… 13 years later we are selling all over the world and our passion for this amazing business still grows by the day, check us out!

Our company has started to produce beanies, caps, hats, scarves, headbands and gloves, as well as various knitted accessories in 1995 in Istanbul, Turkey. Nevertheless, a more professional structure was established in 2000 with the trademark « FONEM ». Since our early days, we’ve been developping a wide range of products in constant evolution. We would like to emphasize that all of our producst are carefully being designed by our designers in our own design office depending on the trendy colors of world fashion. We realize our production by modern machinery and equipment with our own team in our factory in Istanbul. Our daily production capacity is between 6 – 8 thousand pieces which can be easily increased in case of demand. We sell our products in Turkey, and export them to several foreign countries. And since 2017, we are pleased to share our wide range of products in Europe.
