The Man Brand was born out of the discovery of solid cologne as an alternate to spray colognes. While shopping at my local hardware store, I noticed something intriguing. The men's grooming stand went from a few items to several shelves within about 6 months. I decided to go over and see what it was about. One product I discovered that seemed to allude me up to this point in my life was a cologne made of wax called solid cologne. I purchased my first tin that day and discovered my passion for solid cologne. Not many people know about those kinds of products where I live in East Tennessee. After using it for a bit I decided to make my own. I tested a few recipes and discovered it was easy to make and modify. I decided to start The Man Brand on the basis of solid cologne and we now have a wide variety of products in the beard care and body care categories. We've launched 11 fragrances of solid cologne and now have a women's spin off call Lil Miss Solid Perfume with three new scents. The Man Brand has made close to 30,000 tins of cologne up to this point in the life of the company which includes the women's line. I'm an electrical engineer by trade so I'm always looking for ways to improve our production. I've learned how to use photoshop and adobe illustrator to create images and other graphics for packaging. I've streamlined several backend inventory management softwares. It's a journey and I'm enjoying every moment.
