Erica Stannard is a sewist and fabric enthusiast from the north of England. She has a passion for free motion machine embroidery and the mindful practice of slow stitching. All parts of the making process are performed by Erica herself, from her home near the Fylde coast. Keen to share the benefits of slow stitching, Erica has created a unique range of slow stitching craft kits suitable for beginners. The kits feature individually handmade motifs of her own original free motion machine embroidery designs. New sewing hobbyists can incorporate these motifs into their own unique textile art collage using the coordinating elements in the kit and discover the mindful and creative benefits of slow stitching too.
