It all starts at La Ferme de Coquerel, located in the heart of the Picardy terroir, the historic cradle of French potato cultivation. Etienne's family has been growing the famous tuber there since the 1960s, when André's family grows various cereals on his own farm not far away. After their studies - one in business school, the other in agriculture - and a few years working in the agri-food sector, the two friends felt the need to return to their peasant roots, while having a strong entrepreneurial vision. THEY WANT TO DEVELOP THEIR PRODUCT: IT WILL BE HEALTHY AND SIMPLE, DERIVED FROM ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY METHODS, MADE IN AN ARTISANAL WAY AND WITHOUT CHEMISTRY, OF SUPERIOR QUALITY BUT ACCESSIBLE, IN THEIR COMMON IDEA THAT TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER YOU MUST START BY RESPECTING HIM! Fresh fries? Artisanal crisps? Their desire to throw English out of France, until now king of the shelves on the market, inspires them a 100% French premium crisps! The project put in shape convinces: the adventure can begin! They then call on a creative studio to develop with them the brand that will be called, it's decided: FRENCH CHIPS!
Christie's was founded with a spirit of compassion and a simple objective: to ensure people with a variety of dietary preferences can enjoy classic beloved flavors of potato chips. Christie's culinary background in fine dining created the basis for the brand. She wanted to take the same precision and care for ingredients, but bring it to a product that was fun, accessible, and a favorite among so many of us. It was two years ago that Christie was presented with the knowledge that there were no vegan versions of many classic flavored potato chips. It was with this knowledge that the brand began in her Santa Monica kitchen. Back in 1996 Dave Willis bought an old van and began selling crisps and nuts to local pubs. The company grew steadily and in 2003 Dave decided to launch his own brand of crisps. Salty Dog was born named in honour of his cabin buddy, a scruffy Jack Russell pup called Ruby. Dave's wife Judy joined the team and the company went from strength to strength, adding more brands along the way.

Without the means to pay for school meals, 15 million Indian children drop out of education and end up in child labour. THE SOLUTION Every time we sell a pack, we give a free school lunch to a child in need, through our partnership with the incredible charityAkshaya Patra. This is often the only nutritious meal they’ll get in a day so, by encouraging these children to go to school and feeding them properly, we give their parents the motivation to support their children's education and, most importantly, we can help the children themselves to get the skills they need to build brighter futures.

Le patate vengono raccolte e conservate sotto terra al buio per mantenere intatte tutte le proprietà organolettiche che gli conferiscono il loro gusto originale. Poi sono lavate, leggermente pelate e tagliate a fettine, prima di essere fritte in olio di girasole puro - il migliore poiché insapore - a 165ºC.
