The ingredient is prominent in Muva Nature products because it is proven to make afro hair long, healthy and thick. Chébé powder is a millenia-old ancient hair care ritual. Though some people swear by its ability to grow hair, others primarily use chébé powder to protect against damage and keep their hair strong. Why Argan ? Natural antioxidants present in Argan oil strengthen the hair by repairing damage. Many external and internal agents like heat, over styling, relaxing and oxidization damage the hair. Vitamin E present in Argan oil is very useful in restoring the natural hair and renewing and repairing the damage caused heat, chemicals or other destructive agents. Like all great stories, this one is about love, travel and adventure. It all started many Monsoons ago when Nick met Julie in India. There they founded the company that now holds their values at the core of their business. Quality, low carbon impact and natural. They first met in Thailand, both were both worked for the European Commission on Human rights and Humanitarian affairs. After a few years they moved to India, where Nick carried on working for the EC and Julie taught economics to students at the French diplomatic school. They they had two lovely children and lived happily there for five amazing years. While in Delhi they discovered the magical soap berries, used for centuries to washing silk, hands and bodies. They started to develop a few products and won a contract to produce for a company back home in the UK. This was the start of the business. They quit their jobs, moved back to the UK and started to manufacture a range of body-care and laundry cleaning products. Now they successfully manufacture and sell to wholesale and retail in the UK and beyond. Rest assured, their values still remain at the core of the business

I'm Adam - from Bristol, UK - and I created NOBO during lockdown [no.3] It felt like an opportune time to state the mission: To make the world smell better. At a time when so many nostrils were/are being covered up and we're all more aware of what it means to look after ourselves, our bodies, our hygiene. Pow, let's do that in the best possible fashion. NOBO was born. I started off creating at the fundamental level - how we wash our bodies. From that level, how we hydrate our bodies. That created my first two products - the body wash and the body lotion. I also realised that most companies out there try - and sell - a 'hand' or 'body' wash/lotion solution but were simply rebranding the exact same product. I didn't want any of that. That felt like people were being cheated; that became the second red line. Post that: plastic. PLASTIC. Absolutely everywhere. That was the third red line - I'm going to create and distribute products in the most ecological components I can without making them too expensive. That was a consideration because of the most fundamental red line of all - the first: the products had to be fantastic. No longer would I want people to have to visit a spa for 'that' quality. I wanted to bring it to the everyday experience; to make the world smell better. Not just spas.
