Wayz was founded in 2019, in Porto, Portugal, by Pedro Maçana and Daniel Gonçalves. Our Mission is to create ethical sneakers, made to last, with timeless design and sell them at fair prices so they can be accessible to more and more people. Ginova is a brand that sells Portuguese shoes of great quality and comfort. In July 1991, the founding couple returned to Portugal with their 3 children, after 14 years of emigration to Venezuela. In 1992 they acquired the footwear business, and began their “adventure” in the sale of footwear in traditional markets. In 2000, the first Ginova store opened in the city of Torres Novas. In 2005, a new store opened in Alcanena, which was later relocated to Leiria in 2012. In 2013, Ginova began its online presence, becoming accessible to the whole country with 24-hour deliveries. In 2020, the Leiria store/warehouse was moved to Fátima for an increase in delivery speed and better assistance to physical stores. Along this path, Ginova Sapatarias has always prioritized the sale of the best footwear in the world, that is, Portuguese footwear, and is also proud to continue working with the same suppliers for many years, also betting on the continuous innovation of this sector of enormous relevance to the economy.
