About Mademoiselle Boetia

I am in love with materials, already making grass and flower rings very small. It was the summer of 2002 that my great journey towards creation begins. Fate comes with an unexpected inspiration, a ring. A very first realization, which comes to me almost inadvertently. For sensitive self-taught people like me, or you see the world in image, it's the click! Passionate aesthete, I am in love with art and history. The same year, I trained as a graphic designer, an outlet for my overflowing imagination. But I do not imagine that at my 27th spring Mademoiselle Boëtia is not going to be of my imagination. And that it will be obvious to me to create jewelry. More rings are going to be born. Then, entire collections: necklaces, earrings, bracelets... In 2004, Mademoiselle Boëtia became a brand, as I go through the universes, materials and shapes that shape my pieces. It was in 2009 that I discovered an exciting material that distorts and transforms according to my inspirations. From the computer sheath used to sheathe electrical cables, I divert it from its initial function to make jewelry. My Fishnet collection was born!

Jianhui London

FROM HIS FIRST design, made from broken vintage pieces that he found at London’s Portobello Market, Jianhui has been creating versatile sustainable fashion. He has been working with recycled and upcycled materials for over two decades. His designs are flamboyant, playful, and just BEAUTIFUL. His hand-crafted wearable art is loved by style icons such as Iris Apfel and celebrities like Lily Tomlin and Dame Prue Leith. His work features in prestigious art museums such as MoMa and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. New York’s Museum of Art and Design uses the week of Earth Day to run a trunk show in their store with Jianhui’s sustainable designs - while his recycled leather collection this year won a sustainability award at the NY Now show. “Sustainability is not a trend, but a mission to use resources well and help make our planet greener”. This belief is central to everything he does, for example his recent ‘Aqua’ collection being made entirely by hand from recycled plastic bottles and newspapers. His message deserves a wide audience, and he works hard at that too. His designs and approach to sustainability is used in the Smithsonian Institute’s material for its youth education programme on the climate; and he lectured at Columbia University’s Climate School during Climate Week in 2023. Flamboyant, playful, and just BEAUTIFUL – enjoy.

Handmade by Tinni

Bold, Beautiful & Sustainable: Handmade by Tinni was founded in 2020 to address the lack of colourful, fun biodegradable jewellery for fashionistas who love expressing their personality with unusual, statement jewellery pieces. Meet The Artist: Paulomi was born and brought up in India and now lives in London for the past 17 years. She has always been passionate about handcrafted unique jewellery and being an Indian, Paulomi has been spoiled for choice and inspiration. Her art is heavily influenced by the bright colours of nature, exotic places Paulomi has travelled and the rich Indian heritage and colours. Paulomi launched the brand in 2020 as a sustainable modern textile design brand that creates unique wearable art. She chose organic cotton as her leading material for her designs as it is biodegradable and extremely flexible to let the designs flow freely. Specialising in the art of traditional rope knotting crafts and processes like macramé, Paulomi creates colourful, unique and bold designs that make you feel unique. By adding zero-waste designs and partnering with Ecology, Paulomi is making a positive impact with her brand. Samuel Coraux

Samuel Coraux wants to offer unusual, attractive and creative jewelry, with 3 axes: color, movement and volume. The brand can be found in museum, clothing, jewelry or concept stores. The brand is international, it is sold in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Japan, China, Australia, the United States, Canada... and therefore works very well in all tourist places. Beyond originality, customers consider the creations to be joyful and inspired, with an elegance that makes the jewel come out of a decorative fantasy to turn it into a sculpture or artistic gesture. Samuel Coraux also wants to make contemporary jewelry, sometimes elitist, affordable and democratic. It is also important that rooms, even of a certain volume, are light and comfortable. Everything is created and made by hand in our workshop in Paris. The Samuel Coraux brand reflects the atypical career of its creator and his collaborators. It was after a car accident and the 6 months of recovery that he started creating jewelry without specific goals, giving free rein to his imagination. He lived in Japan, and is inspired by calligraphy, the art of gesture. Because of his professional activity in the cinema, he considers jewelry as a story, or a movie. Jewellery, like the reflection of a mood, an ode to creation or the expression of a personality.

8th Sin

I founded 8th Sin in 2010, when I was just 15 and had just discovered alternative and Japanese street fashion. I loved all alternative fashion but didn't have the money to buy clothing or accessories for the styles I loved. I started to make my own items; first for myself, then to sell to others via Etsy. Over 10 years later, 8th Sin has evolved, grown and expanded to be an affordable, versatile alternative slow fashion brand. 8th Sin designs and/or makes all their original items inhouse, sourcing the highest quality supplies we can find to make sure our items are durable and long-lasting as well as stylish.

ANDREANI CRÉATIONS

Andreani Créations is a French fashion jewelry brand founded 20 years ago. Renaud Andreani is a ceramist and creates chic and colorful ethnic earthenware jewelry. This cutting-edge designer and master craftsman imagines his own enamels, available in 20 colors, in his workshop near Marseille. The designer likes unstructured geometric patterns and takes care of his modern aesthetic by inserting magnets into the ground to hide the clasps. Andreani jewels have a distinctive look, with asymmetrical shapes, black PVC and matt black earthenware that contrasts with the shimmering colors of other enamels. Each piece of jewelry is meticulously designed and crafted to be lightweight and comfortable to wear everywhere. Renaud Andreani is heir to traditional pottery methods (moulding, engobing, baking biscuits, drying time, enamelling, assembly). All the stages of creation combined require a fortnight to produce a finely crafted piece. In an environmental approach, the natural materials used such as ceramics are eco-responsible, hypoallergenic, noble and ethical. His meticulousness and concern for perfect finishing have earned Renaud Andreani recognition in the craft sector, particularly with his 'Atelier d'art de France' label since 2009. At the ceramic school in Aubagne (13), he ensures the transmission of his thousand-year-old knowledge to future generations of ceramists.
