An enthusiastic young Chrys once overheard the talks about a pirate party. Like we’re talking full-on costumes and actually getting onto a boat and sailing around. As is tradition for Chrys, he couldn’t just half-ass a costume, and be a “store bought pirate” No, he hit the library to read up on pirate history and lore. He wanted to make sure that he showed up in the proper gear, knowing the real lingo. He wanted to walk the walk, talk the talk! But most importantly, what kind of pirate doesn’t have a beard?! Over a decade has passed since that party and Chrys is still sporting his proper “Captain’s” beard! Along the way, he learned that there is so much more to growing a good beard, than just “Not Shaving”. He researched and fixated on oils, scents, and their benefits for growing and maintaning facial hair. Since 2015, Chrys has welcomed all beards to embark on the journey for greatness. From the groomed, growing, or grizzly beards, Chrys has been able to help men tame that facial fuzz but also has been giving the gift of growing a healthy and problem-free beard! Not only is Chrys a passionate Breadsmith, and even a patch holder in a beard club (Shout out to the Bearded Villains!) But he’s also very passionate about animals and their rights. That’s why ALL grizzly beard products are always Vegan and cruelty-free.
