In order to present the HUDOG & HUCAT brand to you, we must first introduce you with Hugo, who joined our family four years ago. We have always loved animals, so the well-being of our dog came first. For this reason, we have decided to make a special, beautiful and comfortable dog bed from natural materials for Hugo. We put a lot of effort, time and attention into making the dog bed, which led us to think about beds that other pets would be happy with. When designing it, we paid attention to every detail and repeated the same models several times to bring them to the very perfection. After a year our Hugo fell in love with Bella. His happiness never ended and we happily continued to build our story. We continued our efforts and worked, and so it happened that over the time we expanded the product range. We have made many models of pet beds to meet the different needs of both pets and their owners. Due to the large selection of colors and patterns, we have achieved that the pet beds fit into any space. The HUDOG & HUCAT product line offers exactly what your dogs and cats really need. We are making wooden beds for dogs, food bowls for dogs and cats, cat houses and cat scratching posts. We paint our wood products with water-based paints so as not to harm pets. Every part of the bed is handmade. We approach the procurement of materials very selectively. We are always looking for the best quality that provides comfort for dogs and cats and easy maintenance for their owners.

Hugo & Hudson was born out of frustration that we couldn’t find certain dog products on the market where premium high-quality products were matched with the latest fashion trends. Following on from the heartbreak of the loss of my dog Dougal in the Spring of 2016, I partnered up with my Labradoodle breeder, Francesca, to create Hugo & Hudson. We are always asked where the name came from, back in those early days Francesca had just got an Australian Labradoodle from America called Hudson, and I loved the name Hugo. Once I was ready to welcome a new Labradoodle puppy into our family the following Autumn, I really had to call him Hugo didn’t I!

From humble beginnings I started this business because I could see the plastic waste in our oceans. Something needs to change & I wanted to be part of this movement. If I could create a business to help people buy more consciously, reduce waste and fill their homes with beautifully made pieces that will last a lifetime. I knew I would be happy! Jolly Hound is run by me, Chaan - the designer and maker of all Jolly Hounds items. I started about at University creating womenswear clothing and knitwear. I changed paths when I got my first dog - Denzel, a Frenchie. 3 years and 3 more French Bulldogs later, I decided to combine my two passions - my 4 French Bulldogs and creating crafts to develop the brand Jolly Hound. I make the all rope and Biothane items in the shop myself. I have chosen the harnesses designs to compliment the rope lead colours.

PPB innovate and create original and exceptional quality dog accessories and human clothing. Founded in 2016, Sophie fosters her creativity, originality and imagination bringing her products to life resulting in a large and loyal customer base with great social media following. Our inspiring designs are at the heart of PPB and we are proud to ship beautiful products all over the world. PPB is stocked in retailer John Lewis and we are developing a B2B local in-store experience.

Based from HoD HQ (our shop in Ramsgate, Kent) our Dawgwear range is designed by our in house team and is inspired by what we love..... the sea, the beach, Ru Paul, Disney and Star Wars! Of course all our products are thoroughly tested by our own Dawg, Baxter - you can be sure our products have been run, swam and rolled in before we release them on the world! THE TEAM We feel like our team at The House of Dawg is just like one big family - probably because we are - ha,ha!! Cheryl - Chief Puppy Cuddler - Cheryl uses her artistic flair to make sure our Dawg Store looks on point and uses her research skills to find the best products for Steve to look at - she's not on her phone, she's "researching". Steve - Mr Numbers - using years of working in Banking he makes sure all the bills are paid and the numbers add up - but don't worry although he worked for a Bank for years he's quite friendly!! Emily - Social Media Whizz - she says we should call her the dog whisperer as all dogs love her .... or maybe its just cos she smells of bacon. Also make sure you tag us in your pics, Emily will re-share them. Poppy - The Artsy one - she is our very own in house designer - super skillful on an iPad, she does her best to interpret Cheryl's and Steve's numerous ideas into a usable design. Baxter - The Top Dawg - never happier than when running on the beach, he also lives by the motto "A found ball is the best ball” and will often magically appear with a not so new one on walks.
