When we wanted to gain a foothold in the watch business in 2012, industry insiders advised us against it. In times of great tension, he liked to retire to his work chamber and disassemble clocks into their individual parts and then reassemble them. We were so fascinated by his story and his love for watches that we decided to make him the eponym of our timepieces. We are constantly experimenting with new designs, materials and technical details to create watches that transfer a piece of Louis XVI's royalty into the present — to you.
