Merve Swim was named after Mermaid Cove, a beautiful dive site that from a birds-eye view forms the shape of a mermaid's tail. Muscat is my hometown and I spent my childhood falling in love with the ocean. It breaks my heart to see how polluted our world has become, and so sustainability is at the heart of all operations at Merve. My sustainable swimwear is seamless, reversible, and made from recycled materials. I specialise in cheeky, colourful designs, and I draw all my prints from scratch. All my products are made from recycled fabrics derived from ECONYL® and REPREVE® yarn, and my prints are created with eco-friendly dyes. I donate 1% of our profits to non-profit environmental organisations, and have partnered with Tree Nation to offset my carbon footprint, and I proudly plant a tree with every product sold. Additional trees are also planted to offset emissions from my net-zero website. Turning waste into something beautiful is the pride and joy of what I do and I want anyone who puts on my swimwear to feel empowered by that. Mother nature deserves to be treated with love and respect, and without her, we wouldn't be here at all. So, my mission is cleaning up our oceans, one bikini at a time... Mia xxx

FAIR AMERICAN promotes fair working conditions in underprivileged communities in the amazonian rainforest region of Peru, where all our cotton is grown. Farmers on small family farms are paid a guaranteed and living wage for the organic Pima cotton used in our t-shirts. Part of profits go back to their communities, with our goal to improve the standard of living of these farmers and their communities. Each t-shirt comes with a hangtag that describes the story of a farmer's family that is participating in this program. The product is 100% regenerative organic, only uses natural processes free of chemicals and pesticides and 100% rain water for irrigation. The result is one of highest quality, most exclusive cottons that carries the love and dedication of farmers and workers.

In 2015 while at an Estate sale we were in a room looking at Beautiful Vintage Maps, the Latitude and Longitude lines marked in pen with locations, in the same room we found an old journal and together with the maps it told a detailed story of adventure and travel. There was one particular map done in shades of blue, with ships and sea dragons so compelling that it captured your imagination and the ideas just started flowing. In a matter of days our Brand was born... Change Your Latitude. We Love the outdoors and that's where we get our inspiration, so nature designs and compasses are what we like to do. We print on high quality fine garments, using an eco-friendly process, done in small batches. Change Your Latitude … it’s a state of mind. Our Tee Shirts are original creations. We use 100% fine Cotton Jersey (all pre-shrunk). Every Garment is hand screened using custom blended water based discharge inks. This unique process deposits vibrant colors directly into each shirt, leaving an amazing soft hand to the design. We print everything locally in South Florida and ship it with care.
