Pip started his hot chocolate company in 2013, but it became his full-time income in 2015. After years of making his own hot chocolate by buying quality dark chocolates and melting them into milk on the hob, it finally dawned on Pip that he was doing this only because a good hot chocolate just wasn’t available in the shops! Forging relationships with other hot drink producers, and creating new innovations has led to Pip now selling a superb custom blended coffee, and loose leaf teas, under new brands Coffi Diolch (Welsh for “Coffee, Thanks”) and Diolch i Tea (a play on a Welsh phrase that means “Thanks, to you”). Diolch Drinks brings all the brands together under one new roof. Pip's partners complement the high quality of his own hot chocolate, able to create custom blends to his own exacting specifications. Add to these partnerships Pip’s ability to innovate and 2022 will see more new products, including Cocoaffee (a coffee/cocoa blend for cafetières, with a focus on health), and convenience to-go options for the existing range towards the end of the year. Pip is GS1 registered, and is happy to talk about white-label options.Read their story
