👋Hi I'm Georgia, the co-founder and CEO of Smoothie London. 💖I created my jewelry brand because I, like many others, have a super busy lifestyle and am constantly between work, the gym, and going out with friends. That means I want to be able to wear my staple jewelry pieces for days on end without taking them on and off (because let's be honest, who has the energy to do this every single day?!) I was frustrated that all the jewelry I owned, unless very expensive, tarnished if I wore them consistently, or had really fiddly clasps I couldn't do myself. ✨So over lockdown, armed with a laptop and a lot of free time, I along with my best friend set to making a brand that specialised in huggie hoop earrings, designed to withstand day-to-day wear but cute enough to show personality and get you compliments! 🌸Since then I've run the brand and we've expanded into different types of jewelry...necklaces, anklets, rings...but always with a balance of design and practicality. ♀️As a female founder, I knew I wanted my business to give back where it could, so we partnered with The Pachamama Project, and donate 10% of our sales to the charity. They donate reusable period products to female refugees and help end the taboo around periods, a particularly pressing matter in our current climate
