Hi, we are Rachel and Del, the creators of The Lemon Tree Candle Company. We first began experimenting with waxes and oils in our kitchen due to the struggle we were having to find a candle brand that was both reasonably priced and health friendly. For example, one of the major ingredients found in some candles is paraffin, a by-product of petroleum waste which releases soot particles into the air; we weren’t too keen! Through researching and experimenting with a multitude of waxes, oils and wicks, we embarked upon a journey to find a solution to this. Today each Lemon Tree Candle and melt is made from a blend of coconut and rapeseed wax as its’ base and only braided cotton wicks are used to ensure a clean burn. The additional benefit of using purely vegetable waxes is that as it melts at a lower temperature it has a much longer burn time so added hours of beautiful fragrance for you to enjoy! And of course, because the wax is plant-based it’s totally vegan friendly and cruelty-free. All of our candles are hand poured in small batches to ensure we remain true to the quality of the candles we aspired to produce. We believe that our range of candles, melt pods and reed diffusers offer something for everyone. We are a small business and we are passionate about our products which are made using only the finest quality ingredients. All candles and melts contain 100% natural wax carefully blended with essential oils and fine fragrances. We hope you enjoy our range of products
