About Mimochai
Mimochai is an independent studio created by LA-based artist Mimi Chao. Mimi is a former lawyer turned full-time creative, and being the owner-illustrator of Mimochai is her dream come true. Mimi is passionate about encouraging creativity and mindfulness in all ages through her work. Mimochai makes high-quality picture books that are loved by kids and adults alike. We personally design all of our books in Los Angeles, and produce them with thoughtfully selected manufacturers in China. Our art prints are produced in the USA, and individually signed and packed in our studio 💛 To further our mission, a portion of all proceeds is donated to Inner-City Arts, a local non-profit that provides an arts education to underprivileged kids.
